Our mission as the Children’s ministry is to To provide a loving and caring environment to help children know Jesus and grow in Him.

Programs:

  • Sunday School Classes
Classes are held for children ages 2 through 6th grade. All classes are held at 9:00 a.m. with the exception of our 5th/6th grade (Pre-teen) class. That group attends worship service first hour and has Sunday School second hour.
  • Children’s Church
This is for children 4 years old through 4th grade, Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Children start out with a time of worshiping God through music and move onto a slightly informal class time with a Bible lesson, games and crafts.
  • Nursery Ministry
Our nurseries are for infants through children age 3. Nursery is provided during both Sunday morning services and Wednesday evenings.
  • Caravan
This is a scouting program for children 2 years old through 6th grade. Children learn skills and earn badges in areas like health, cooking, safety, sports, biking and babysitting, just to name a few, all with a Christian emphasis. We also have many special events through the year. Caravan runs on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. from late August through May.
  • Vacation Bible School
Children entering Kindergarten through those who just completed 6th grade are invited to join in the fun.  Join us for a week full of great songs, skits, Bible lessons, goofy games and creative crafts. You can pre-register here.
  • Christmas Musical
Children begin practicing in September and work very hard memorizing lines, songs and movements to share the true meaning of Christmas in an amazing fashion. The musical is typically held in early December.
  • Easter Egg Hunt
This annual event is held the Saturday before Easter and is for children ages 1 through 6th grade. It is held rain or shine.
  • Children’s/Pre-teen Summer Camp
This is a camp organized by our district and is held every year at Summit Lake Campground in Emmitsburg, MD. Children’s Camp is for those who just finished 2nd-4th grades while the Pre-teen Camp is for those who just completed 5th/6th grade. While both camps are held simultaneously, the activities are divided.
